Agents (MCP)

Let your AI assistant plan your Web Summit week. This list is also an MCP server: Claude, ChatGPT, Cursor and other agents can search the events, read the details and make a calendar file of what they pick for you.

Add it

• Claude (claude.ai or the desktop app): Settings → Connectors → Add custom connector, paste the URL.
• Claude Code:

• ChatGPT: Settings → Apps & Connectors → Advanced → Developer mode, then Create with the URL.
• Cursor, VS Code and others: add it to your MCP config.

Ask it

• "I'm a founder raising a seed round in AI. Plan my evenings from 9 to 12 November, two events a night, no overlap, free food where possible."
• "Which investor events on Tuesday don't need a Web Summit badge?"
• "Find padel, runs or other sport in the mornings and put them in my calendar."

Tools

• list_days: days with events and counts per type and perk.
• search_events: by day, time window, type, free food or drinks, open to all, and free text.
• get_event: the full notes for one or more events (who it is for, approval or tickets, what is included).
• calendar_link: an .ics link with the chosen events for Google, Apple or Outlook calendar.

Read-only: the server stores nothing and knows nothing about you. You still register for each event with its organiser. Data comes from Yorkseed's public spreadsheet; the raw list is at /events.json.
